About Angelica Zatarain
Angelica Zatarain was born in San Diego, California, and raised in neighboring Tijuana, Mexico. Growing up in a border city allowed her to learn how to simultaneously navigate starkly different cultures from a young age; something she is grateful for and recognizes as a great aptitude to possess in an ever-connected world.
In 2010 she moved to Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Minor in Screenwriting at USC. In 2013, Angelica joined Jason Oppenheim’s team at Coldwell Banker where she fit right in with his always busy and sometimes hectic office.
Now, as Marketing Director for The Oppenheim Group, she oversees the communications and marketing strategy for the brokerage's real estate listings portfolio. After working directly with Jason on significant and record-breaking sales for over seven years, Angelica’s valuable insight has optimized content production and visual storytelling. She leads strategic planning and oversight of all advertising campaigns and promotions including, brand identity, collateral material development, all print media, digital and direct marketing.
Angelica recently obtained her real estate license and moved to beautiful Newport Beach to help Jason establish the new Oppenheim Group office in Corona Del Mar.
She’s always looking for the next creative project to work on, as she finds creativity to be an essential part of her life. In her spare time, you will likely find her in a recording studio working on her music or at home, lounging with her dogs, Chief and Peluza.
