West Hollywood’s decades-in-the-making, four-tower Sunset|La Cienega project (formerly Sunset Millennium) is finally starting work, the city has announced. Demolition begins next Monday on several blocks on the south side of Sunset Boulevard, around La Cienega (don’t worry, no Sunset lanes will be affected and sidewalks should be mostly passable)–mid-century buildings like the Petersen office tower and the Tiffany Theater will bite the dust.
