$8.2 million — Hollywood Hills West

Restaurateur Adolfo Suaya sold a 7,456-square-foot home in the 1600 block of Haslam Terrace for the asking price.

Set above the Sunset Strip, the boxy, modern-style house sits behind a pair of gates and is accessed by a long driveway.

The home, built in 2005, is highlighted by neutral tones, polished stone floors and a glass-enclosed staircase. Among amenities are a movie theater, a wet bar and a gym.

A guest house, a barbecue pavilion and an infinity pool and spa are within grounds of more than half an acre.

Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group was the listing agent. Mark Alonso of Premier Pacific Realty repped the buyer.
